Volunteer for the VP Debate at Centre on Thursday!

College & Young Democrats,

I’m writing with a very cool opportunity for our College Dems members. Vice President Joe Biden will be in Kentucky on Thursday, Oct. 11, for the Vice Presidential Debate at Centre College in Danville.

We are invited to participate in the debate festivities as well! College Dems have been invited to travel to Danville on Thursday to rally with other Obama-Biden supporters on campus. Debate Festival Park is a great place to enjoy all the action and watch the debate that night. Various news programs will also be broadcasting live from campus as well. You’re welcome to join us all day, or during one of two shifts — from 11:00am to 6:00pm or from 5:00pm to 11:00pm.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Jordan.Shewmaker@centre.edu and let us know if you’re available. Please also indicate if you have access to a car and are willing to transport other College Dems members to Danville.
